Bocken Trading’s Agricultural Trading Program employs a discretionary managed futures strategy that focuses on agricultural markets, especially wheat, corn, and soybean contracts. The program has a fundamental focus using a proprietary methodology to identify potential trading opportunities, and is almost always involved in the markets. Bocken Trading may use technical analysis to determine entry and exit levels, and is comfortable trading both sides of futures and options markets.
Bocken Trading maintains its own research centered on wheat, corn, and soybeans, placing special emphasis on relationships among the different classes of wheat. This includes forecasting both U.S. and world supply and demand of each particular commodity in order to determine “value” and price trends based on ever-changing market conditions. It also involves a careful and constant monitoring of U.S. and world weather, geopolitical issues and currency relationships. By combining the factors, the program implements trading decisions that integrate flat price, intra and inter-market spreads as well as options strategies.
Bocken Trading, LLC is a Tennessee Limited Liability Company formed in January 2011. Bocken Trading, LLC became registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor (“CTA”) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”) and a member of the National Futures Association (“NFA”) on March 2011.
